How is Mitri Contracting different from its competitors?
Mitri Contracting holds your hand through the development process. We understand the complex journey renovations and home development can be and we are here for you every step (or nail) of the way. We go above and beyond the call of duty. However, the truth is, there are so many wonderful contractors, construction companies, handymen and handywomen in the various Toronto communities who can do work for you. What is most important is to ensure that we fit your needs. If we provide you with the trust, design, building, character, expertise and knowledge that matches your style, then we are happy to create your dream space with you.
Are quotes free?
All our projects start at the same place, with a free 15 minute initial consultation (now virtual). We like to meet our prospective clients and get a sense of who they are and what they want. Due to the high demand of this small team, we cannot guarantee we will take your project. Once the consult is done, if Mitri Contracting finds you to be the right fit and works with the ongoing timeline, and you find us to be the right building partner, a home inspection and quote can be done thereafter. Quotes are free, but an initial consult must be done first where both parties agree to move forward.
Where do you get involved in the project?
We start where you want us to start! If you want us right from the beginning from ideation or right at the end for the fixing of a cupboard, we can accommodate either and anything in between. We have the capability to demolish and excavate an entire space and rebuild, start from land alone, or work with an already built structure that requires a few internal tweaks.
Is Mitri Contracting a small team?
Our leadership and decision making team is familial and close-knit. However, we work with a broad range of sub-contractors, architects, real estate agents, and trade services to ensure the success of your project to meet project needs and deliverables. Once our primary team has met with you, our future client(s), we then hand pick the team of employees and members of the Mitri Contracting network that we think would be the best fit for your project.
If we are looking to build a house from scratch, do you guys include architecture and design prints?
Yes, we have an esteemed set of architects and designer portfolios you can choose from. Different architects and designers are available at different rates, styles and goals. Therefore, we will most likely suggest an architect or designer that fits your project and the type of work you are looking to be done. If you already have design and blueprints taken care of, that is okay, we are happy to work with your requests as well to build and develop the space of your dreams.
Do you require us to pick up materials for the project?
This really depends on the scope of your project and ultimately how involved you would like us to be. We are more than happy to ensure all your desired materials are picked up or delivered for building.
